FAQs for Breweries (Wineries & Distilleries too)
Breweries – we know our event sounds great but we’re sure you have questions, too. Look through these FAQs below. Additional information can also be found in our Event Overview for Participating Breweries.

How does my brewery participate?
Participating breweries are asked to supply their beer, taps and personnel to serve. Each brewery will be asked to offer at least 2 varieties. Breweries will be doing tasting pours into 4oz Beer Bash glasses. We will notify you of registration volume in advance so you can determine how much beer to bring for the expected attendance. Set up by 11:30 AM and VIP admission starts at Noon. General admission and tasting pours start at 1pm and we ask breweries to stay until at least 4pm.
To get started – complete our online Brewery Participation Form or contact us at info@bucksbeerbash.com.
What does this cost?
Basically your “cost” is the beer you bring and your labor for the day. That said, you will get a $100 Brewers Bonus to help offset labor costs. Additionally, our token system will help reimburse you for your beer at $1.00 per pour. Cost to Bash attendees is $25 General Admission which includes their first 5 beer tasting tokens. Additional tokens are $2.00 each. VIP admissions are $75 and include a special exclusive tasting of beers from selected breweries prior to the official opening of the event. See VIP question for more info.
How does the token system work?
We have chosen to change the model of how beer festivals are typically done. Instead of a large upfront admission fee and then and all-you-can-drink approach, we have a low admission cost and attendees use beer tasting “tokens” they purchase from the event at $2 each to use for their tastings. We will handle the sales and distribution of the tokens before and during the event. Breweries will be given a token box for attendees to put their tokens in to get a pour from you. At the end of the event, our staff will reconcile your tokens and pay your brewery $1.00 each. That means you can potentially make over $150 per sixtel.
What do we need to bring, what will you supply?
You bring your beer, taps, keg buckets, serving personnel and any signage about your beer you want to display. We provide an 8ft. table, black linen table cover, chairs, ice, token box and any assistance you may need in getting set up. Prior to the event, we’ll need your brewery logo and a brief description of your brewery for our website, signage and other promotions (we can also pull this from your website and get your okay).
How does the VIP part work and how can we be part of it?
A VIP Admission for attendees gets them in the door at Noon. The idea is that we will have 6-8 VIP breweries bring “special” beers that are different from what they are pouring for general admission. VIPs will get to taste each beer, hear a brief description from the brewer. Appetizers will also be served until 1PM. We will set aside a special VIP Lounge room at the FUGE separate from the main area that will be for the VIP tastings. VIP registration will be limited to 150 people. If you would like to be part the VIP brewery group, let us know. VIP brewery participants will receive an extra $50 VIP Brewers Bonus on top of the $100.
How will this be promoted?
The Bucks Beer Bash is getting buzz already with over 100 pre-registrants and we’ll keep that going. The event will be promoted heavily through online advertising, local Bucks and Montgomery County print and online publications, PA craft beer enthusiast and local event websites, targeted email campaigns, online newsletters and of course our event website and Facebook pages. Additionally, we will supply each participating brewery some signage and other promotional items for your brewery tasting rooms as well as Bash logo files and links for the event to put on your websites and Facebook pages.
Will it only be breweries participating? What about wineries and distilleries?
Great question! We welcome local wineries and distilleries to participate. The same token system will apply. Just complete the participation reply form to get started.
