FAQs for Breweries (Wineries & Distilleries too)
Breweries – we know our event sounds great but we’re sure you have questions, too. Look through these FAQs below. Additional information can also be found in our Event Overview for Participating Breweries.

How does my brewery, winery, distillery participate?
Participating breweries are asked to supply their beer, taps and personnel to serve. We’ll provide ice for jockey boxes and potable ice as well. Each brewery will be asked to offer at least 2 varieties. Breweries will be doing tasting pours into provided 4oz plastic cups. Distilleries and wineries will be provided the same cups but do smaller tasting pours accordingly. We will notify you of registration volume in advance so you can determine how much beer and product to bring for the expected attendance. Set up by 11:30 AM and VIP Session admission starts at Noon. Main Session admission and tasting pours start at 4pm and go until 7pm. .
To get started – complete our online Brewery Participation Form or contact us at info@bucksbeerbash.com.
What does this cost?
Basically your “cost” is the product you bring and your labor for the day. That said, you will get a $350 Bash Bonus to help offset product and labor costs. Additionally, our token system for the Main Session will help reimburse you at $1.00 per pour. Cost to Bash attendees is $35 Main Session Admission which includes their first 5 beer tasting tokens. Additional tokens are $2.00 each. VIP admissions are $110 each an includes all tastings and food. See VIP question for more info.
How does the token system work?
We have chosen to change the model of how beer festivals are typically done. Instead of a large upfront admission fee and then and all-you-can-drink approach, for our Main Session we have a low admission cost and attendees use tasting “tokens” they purchase from the event at $2 each to use for their tastings. We will handle the sales and distribution of the tokens before and during the event. All participants will be given a token box for Main Session attendees to put their tokens in to get a pour from you. At the end of the event, our staff will reconcile your tokens and pay you $1.00 each. For the 2024 event, most participants took home hundreds of dollars in token revenue.
What do we need to bring, what will you supply?
You bring your beer, taps, jockey boxes, serving personnel and any signage about your beer you want to display. We provide an 8ft. table, linen table cover, chairs, ice, token box and any assistance you may need in getting set up. Prior to the event, we’ll need your business logo and a brief description of your brewery, winery, distillery for our website, signage and other promotions (we can also pull this from your website and get your okay). If you participated in 2024, we likely already have what we need.
How does the VIP part work and how can we be part of it?
A VIP Session attendee gets them in the event from Noon-3pm. The idea is that we will if some breweries have limited “special” beers that are different from what they are otherwise pouring, this would be the time to offer them. Same with wineries and distilleries. VIPs will get open tastings (no tokens required) and have a more intimate setting to speak with you about your products and business. Heavy appetizers and other food items will also be served during the VIP session and are included in admission. Last event we had a special VIP lounge, this year we will still have that area but also will open the main floor as well. So people can circulate and not feel crowded. This upstairs area will also be available to the Main Session attendees.
How will this be promoted?
The Bucks Beer Bash is getting buzz already with over 1,200 attendees from the 2024 event, we expect it to be even bigger for 2025. The event will be promoted heavily through online advertising, local Bucks and Montgomery County print and online publications, PA craft beer enthusiast and local event websites, targeted email campaigns, online newsletters and of course our event website and Facebook pages. Additionally, we will supply each participating business with some signage and other promotional items for your tasting rooms as well as Bash logo files and links for the event to put on your websites and Facebook pages.
Will it only be breweries participating? What about wineries and distilleries?
Great question! while we call this the Bucks Beer Bash, we welcome local wineries and distilleries to participate. The same $350 Bash Bonus and Main Session token revenue system will apply. Just complete the participation reply form to get started.
